Additional booking information


  • Some rooms have a minimum hire duration of 3 hours.
  • Please allow time within your booking for setting up and clearing the room. 
  • Bookings are usually between 9am—5pm. On late evening opening days (Mon, Tues & Thurs) bookings may be extended to 7pm on request.  


Refreshments


  • Coffee, Tea, Coffee & Biscuits at £2.20 excl. VAT per person per serving.
  • Filter Coffee, Tea & Biscuits at £3.50 excl. VAT per person per serving (not available after 4.00pm and at weekends).
  • Catering: Our preferred caterer is Café Domenica please contact catering@teamdomenica.com and reference Jubilee Library.

Out of hours charges


  • Rooms can be booked for evening hire beyond the normal closing time this will incur extra charges.
  • The cost of this is the usual hire charge for the room plus additional charges for security at a rate of £90 per hour (£70 discounted) and for stewarding at £20 per hour per Steward (one steward for every 50 delegates), both excluding VAT.

Discount hire rates


Groups eligible for our discounted rates of hire should get in touch before booking for the first time to have these rates applied to their account. Eligible groups are: 
  • NHS
  • Schools
  • Registered non-profits
  • Brighton & Hove City Council staff (discount rates applied automatically)
